Healing the Grieving Heart & Rediscovering Joy Workshop

John E. Welshons and Ken Druck will host a grief workshop in Del Mar on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
This workshop is designed for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one, or a “Living Loss” (divorce, a debilitating illness, alcoholism, addiction or estrangement and wish to rediscover joy in their lives. The workshop combines experiential learning, meditation, dialogue and grief work in a safe environment by the sea.
Learn the restorative benefits of mind-body-spirit approaches for dealing with
the persisting, painful emotions that accompany grief. Delve into the unanswerable questions and spiritual issues evoked by loss.
– Learn to deal with the yearnings, longings, pain and confusion that arise in the
aftermath of a loss.
– Learn to process the anger, betrayal, guilt, numbness and fear that accompany grief.
– Learn to navigate the seasons, nuances and mysteries of rediscovering joy.
