Courage is the greatest virtue. Living courageously in each new season of life requires newfound strength, faith, vision, wisdom, integrity, humility and resilience. Becoming the better, smarter, more effective version of ourselves is a noble goal in life. And growing our souls is a triumph of the human spirit. The unmistakable elements of courage and compassion, woven into all of Ken Druck's talks, books, blogs and programs are at the heart of his life.
Courageous Living means facing into and overcoming life's challenges, losses and changes -- and harvesting it's many gifts, blessings and opportunities. Doing these things yields the kind of gratitude, humility, compassion, integrity and generosity that make our lives, families, communities, nation and world better. Ken’s daughter, Jenna, called this Strength of Heart.
Courageous Living sets a standard for Strength of Heart we can all aspire to, whether we're 16 or 60. The benefits of choosing courage over fear, compassion over indifference, fierce determination over passive resignation, purposeful action over complacency, awareness over ignorance, responsibility over denial are clear. Our lives become fuller, prouder expressions of who we are -- and what differences we want to make.
Courageous Living is, and has been, at the center of Ken’s life work for over forty years. Working with and writing to those who are doing everything in their power to rise up from life's setbacks, who are determined to pay the good in their lives forward (leaving a "legacy of love") and who aspire to be proud sons, daughters, men, women, cousins, friends, students, workers, community members and citizens has been an honor, privilege and source of great joy.
